you know what I have to say about the hurricanes....BRING IT ON! I am so
ready!
I had a crazy week. We were
super determined never to have another week like we did, and we worked
like dogs this past week, and we have seen the fruits of our labors
already. We found a family of 7 (4 of which can be baptized) and 2 other
people this week to teach. We also have found some members that we
never knew lived in our area and they are super helpful in missionary
work. Things are looking up...but here's the catch, I received a text
from Pres. saying that I would be a District Leader starting next
transfer, which means more than likely I will be getting transferred. I
least I will be leaving the area better than I found it. Pres. Clark
told me that this last year I would be a leader in the mission, and that
I would help set an example for other people. I didn't think it would
happen this fast, however I know that I have a mission Pres. and the Lord's
confidence and encouragement. sorry this letter is super short. I had to
write another missionary's mom saying that she couldn't write till
tomorrow.
Love you

Did we talk last night?
Since I talked to my family last night, I really have nothing new to talk about for this week, because I am talked out from YESTERDAY, though later that night I really had to think if I
talked to you my family last night because it didn't seem like it happened.
It was all in a blink of an eye. However, I know that this will get
forwarded and placed on other blog pages so just share that I got into a
fight with a 7 headed lazer breathing dragon and I won but I lost 3
fingers and a kneecap in the process. the sweet baby and parkour puppy
were there too. and while we're at it so was the boss baby. I don't know use your imagination.
as i thought of my week last night and more this morning, I realized that the past is to be learned from and not lived in. and that every one like you said is a child of god. and everyone needs his love, whether or not they want to except it.
sorry for the short and lame letter. more great things next week.
love,

Mothers day and one year in the mission what could get better than this...
That about sums up everything. I'm excited to talk to my family this
weekend, and on Wednesday I'll be 1 year old. time to start counting
down! just kidding.....but really -__-
Not a whole lot going on here, I know, lame. I just feel bad writing about the same ol' stuff. Its getting hotter. Exciting news, I have been called as the Spanish Ward pianist/organist....again. Yesterday was my first day, it was alright, for the first song (the lord is my light) right hand only and i messed up a few times, but the other 2 i plucked through with both hands and few errors. I just bought the simplified hymn books from the church site, so they should be here by next week.
love you all!

Just another Ol' Week
I hate to say it but not a lot happened last week....other than my BIRTHDAY!!! and TRANSFERS!!!
I love my new area. Its the biggest in the Mission. Its almost twice as big as all the other areas in our zone. We have a car, my new companion and I get along, I'm in a predominantly Spanish speaking area. We had a baptism yesterday, and will be have one for the next couple of weeks. I also enjoy being senior companion. I have able to look as my work efforts as a missionary better as I am held accountable for more things. I have been able to take some time to reflect on what I have done so far and been able to change or tweak in order to become better.
Our next door neighbor has a rat terrier that is the cutest little thing. She goes crazy when she seems me, her name is Mitzy. It nice that our neighbor lets me play with her, it reminds me of my puppies at home.
I also got a package from the Kitties. It was quite a surprise and I got it on my Birthday. It was funny opening it, because I didn't know what to expect but every bit of it reminded me of them. It was so nice.
I hate to say it but that's about it. Stay tuned until next week!

It's my BIRTHWEEK!
happy birthday to Me and to the twinks and to Ross! we will begin the festivities with meatastic monday pt 2. Get EXCITED!
we had an unexpected baptism yesterday but a very happy and great baptism nonetheless. It was one of the kids we were teaching that hurt his arm. finally it was healed enough to get wet and be baptized. also crazy news, i'm getting really good at the piano. someone taught me how to add a very simple bass line to songs and there are a few songs that i feel really comfortable playing. i have also been asked to play the organ in the spanish ward now that I'm not leaving the ward. we'll see how that goes. i cant be any worse than the bishop who plays right now, so i really have nothing to loose.
So i guess its my turn to share a spiritual thought. If you havent done it yet I highly recommend reading the talk from Elder Bednar in Aprils Ensign. It talks about the enabling power of the Atonement and that how most people just use it and understand it as a way to receive a forgiveness of our sins. But Elder Bednar explains that it is how we can gain strength and knowledge. I read it a few days ago, so i dont remember everything, but it was brought up at dinner last night.
One month and I can call home and ONE year I'll be home! Get EXCITED!
