Manic Music Monday : Simon & Milo

Its that time of the week again. MANIC MUSIC MONDAY!!!

This week's artist should give you a chuckle if not definitely a smile. This group, Simon and Milo, was big in the late 90's and early 00's. They were formed from two members of The Philosopher Kings as more a less a joke. They wrote most of the songs on tours buses and on the road about finding love in all the wrong places. Simon and Milo were created from these songs as animated beings.

The story of Simon and Milo is as follow:

"The two are over 200 years old and were enemies in a previous life. During their battles with each other, a ‘man in the sky’ came down and told them they were to be best friends. Sent to the 21st Century, they were given a mission. That mission was for the two to find true love through music." -Inside CD Cover

Their songs are catchy and very funny. I listened to them a ton back in middle school and then I had one of their songs stuck in my head a little bit ago, so I did some research and found them and downloaded their CD. Apparently, they have just recently released a new album along with a make over.

Check them out if you want a laugh, smile, catchy tune, quick beats, elctro-rock-esk music. Songs I suggest: Infatuation, www.nevergetoveryou, Europa, and Pretty Girls. Just to name a few.

Till next week!

-Kye

ps. you are gong to search them on youtube because I'm having a hard time finding a website for them since they are almost non-existant :/ sad news I know
